The Committee, constituted to prepare draft Ganga Act, submitted its report to the Union Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. The Chairman of the committee is Justice Girdhar Malviya (Retd), who is associated with Ganga conservation movement.
