The sum of exterior angles in closed traverse is equal to . . . . . . . .

A. 540°

B. (2n + 4)90°

C. (2n - 4)90°

D. 360°

Answer: Option D

Solution (By Examveda Team)

In a closed traverse, the sum of the exterior angles formed at each vertex is always equal to 360 degrees. This is true regardless of the number of sides or vertices in the traverse.
Therefore, the correct answer is D. 360°.

wrong. can never be true. Instead, sum of exterior angles = (2N+4)90
    For instance. if N=4 (recatagle/square)
    (2*4+4)90 = 1080
    now lets verify this:
    interior angles in square/rectangle are 90 so exterior angles would be 360-90 = 270 and 270*4 = 1080

Thus, sum of exterior angles can never be 360
