SSC MTS Selection Process 2026

The SSC MTS Selection Process 2026 includes a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), followed by PET/PST for Havaldar posts and Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.

SSC MTS Computer-Based Examination (CBE) 2026

The SSC MTS CBE consists of two mandatory sessions with objective-type questions. Session I has no negative marking, while Session II carries 1-mark negative marking for each wrong answer. The detailed exam pattern is given below.

SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST 2026

Candidates applying for the Havaldar post in CBIC and CBN must appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) after qualifying the Computer-Based Examination (CBE). These tests are qualifying in nature and are conducted to assess the physical fitness and prescribed physical standards of candidates. The detailed PET and PST requirements for the SSC Havaldar Recruitment 2026 are provided in the table below.

Only candidates applying for the Havaldar post in CBIC and CBN are required to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates must satisfy the prescribed standards for height, chest (for males), and weight (for females) as specified by the Staff Selection Commission. SSC MTS Document Verification 2026

Candidates who qualify the required stages of the SSC MTS Selection Process 2026 are called for the Document Verification (DV) stage. During this process, candidates must produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies to verify their identity, educational qualifications, category, and other eligibility claims. Failure to produce the required documents may lead to cancellation of candidature. The important documents required during document verification include:

• Matriculation (Class 10) Certificate or Secondary School Certificate (Proof of Date of Birth)
• Mark Sheets and Certificates of Educational Qualifications
• Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable
• PwD Certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable
• Serving Defence Personnel Certificate/Undertaking/Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen (ESM), if applicable
• No Objection Certificate (NOC), wherever applicable
• Any other documents specified by the Staff Selection Commission or the allotted department
